What is SmashPot™?
SmashPot™ is a heavy-duty burley pot and masher designed to make burleying faster, cleaner and easier. Built from marine-grade stainless steel and made in Australia.
Who developed SmashPot™?
SmashPot™ was engineered by Joey — a lifelong fisho and metal fabricator — who refined the design and built it from the ground up in our workshop on the Mornington Peninsula, VIC.
What makes SmashPot™ different?
It’s an all-in-one system that lets you load, mash and deploy your burley in one unit. The built-in dual-sided masher and weighted design create a consistent burley trail without bringing the pot back up to the boat.
Why is the SmashPot™ hexagonal?
The hexagonal shape helps it from rolling around your deck or along the seabed, even in strong tides.
Is SmashPot™ trademarked or patented?
Yes — SmashPot™ is a registered trademark, and the product design is currently patent pending. This protects our design and ensures you’re getting a genuine, Australian-made product.

Returns & Exchanges
Does SmashPot™ come with a warranty?
Yes — every SmashPot™ includes a 12-month manufacturing warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship.
What is covered under warranty?
Weld defects, latch or hinge failures, material faults, or issues with the masher shaft.
Do you accept returns?
We accept returns for faulty or defective items. Change-of-mind returns are not offered.
Product Use & Care
How do I clean the SmashPot™?
Open the bottom lid to release scraps and rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
What type of burley can I use?
The SmashPot™ works with most burley mixes — pilchards, fish frames, cubes and finer blends. The built-in masher helps break everything down easily.
Does it help keep my hands clean?
Yes — you mash the burley directly inside the pot, reducing mess and keeping your hands cleaner compared to traditional setups.
